BOROUGH MARKET
Borough Market has fed London for a thousand years. We've spent five of them photographing it. Portraits of the traders who run it, produce shot close enough to smell, the campaign for their first ever book, and seasonal work that comes round again every year. This is a relationship measured in archives, not projects.
01
A market that never stops moving.
Portraits, produce, a first book, and campaigns that grow with every season.
02
150 traders.

Each one shot on their own stall.
Produce photography that makes you want to reach through the screen. As new traders join, we're there with the camera, so the library keeps growing.

03
The Knowledge
Their first book. Our campaign.
Trader knowledge passed down stall to stall, brought together in one book for the first time. We shot the campaign and the film that launched it.
The book was written by food writer Angela Clutton, over 80 recipes set alongside the traders’ own knowledge. We developed the concept, ran the production and delivered the final edit.

04
Christmas, Easter, and everything between.
The market's rhythm doesn't stop, so neither do we.

05
Five years in, and there's still more market left to shoot.
